Guys, this is actually a quick one for all the Igbo’s and the fans of Highlife/Native Music.
We’ll be giving a brief history of these three LEGENDS in highlife music in Anambra State and otherwise.
LATE CHIEF DR. OSITA OSADEBE (71yrs)
Who died in May 11, 2007 hails from Atani in Anambra State. Has been in the music scene since 1958-2007 with over 80 Albums. With all the albums regarded as a hits all through. Osadebe in best known for his highlife sounds.
LATE CHIEF OLIVER DE COQUE (61yrs)
The Nigerian guitarist King – Oliver, who died in June 20, 2008 hails from Ezenifite, Nnewi South Anambra State. Oliver has been in the music scene 1977-2008 with over 62 albums. Oliver De Coque is best known for Ogene Sounds.
DR. EMEKA MOROCCO MADUKA (73yrs)
Defunct Morgan Entertainment honcho, Morocco whom is regarded as the King of highlife of Egwu Ekpili with over 72 albums has been in music scene over decades and still performing well. Morocco is known for Egwu Ekpili.
