The Tech Interactive is hosting KDFC for Classical California Kids Discovery Day, a day for children and families to explore live classical music, meet KDFC radio hosts, create their own instruments and make music themselves.
Activities include:
● Be Your Own Beethoven! Compose musical themes and hear them played on the spot by Philharmonia Baroque musicians
● Piano Fun with Yamaha
● Visit the “Be a DJ” table with your favorite KDFC hosts
● Join us for fun at the instrument petting zoo
● Participate in Music workshops
● Make your own musical instruments
● Explore the making of a violin with a renowned San Francisco luthier
