[ad_1]

Today, British Blues Award winner Dani Wilde releases a new single, “Vagabond Child.” With wailing harmonica from brother Will Wilde, this original song features vocals, electric and acoustic guitars from Dani. “Vagabond Child is about having freedom and adventure, not letting anyone tie you down or hold you back,” Wilde explains, “I’d been listening to Jeff Buckley and Sue Foley [who Wilde toured with back in 2008] when I wrote this, and both of them influenced my songwriting here.”

Wilde burst onto the International blues scene in 2007, opening for Jools Holland as a special guest of Christopher Holland’s band, at London’s Royal Albert Hall. That same year she signed to prestigious blues record label Ruf Records.

Dani established herself in the international blues scene in 2007, opening for Jools Holland at The Royal Albert Hall and signing to Ruf Records. Since then she has toured extensively across the UK, Europe, America, Canada, and Africa. USA concerts have included headline shows under her own name, and performances with group Girls With Guitars alongside Samantha Fish and Cassie Taylor.

She has been with VizzTone Label Group since 2017 when they released her live studio album, Live at Brighton Road. With release after release her relationship with the label continues to thrive.
