Dyer Davis Releases ‘Long Way To Go’ ft. Victor Wainwright – American Blues Scene

Blues rocker Dyer Davis has recently released his debut record, Dog Bites Back, on WildRoots Records. With his soulful voice, refined guitar playing, and strong writing skills, Davis is a natural performer.

Now a part of the WildRoots Records team, the new recording features an elite cadre; Grammy-nominated Victor Wainwright (keys); Billy Dean (drums); Stephen Dees (bass); Patricia Ann Dees (saxophone); Billy Chapin (guitar); Dyers’ trio David Weatherspoon (drums) & Jacob Barone (bass); and special guests Stan Lynch (The Heartbreakers – drums), Doug Woolverton (trumpet), & Mark Earley (bari sax).

Listen to “Long Way to Go” featuring Victor Wainwright!

Dog Bites Back plants Dyer firmly in a seat at the table amongst titans. He transcends the norm, while tipping his hat to the greats that came before.”
