Shapeshifter to headline Beach Break Festivals

The mighty Shapeshifter have launched a brand new summer festival series with a new must-do one day festival for both holidaymakers and locals alike.

Beach Break Whangamata will take place on Auckland Anniversary Weekend 2023 at Williamson Park – Whangamata, where Shapeshifter are joined by Australian psych-rock group Ocean Alley, roots-driven hypnotic dance trio My Baby, Raglan groovers Masaya & rising Auckland surf-rock and reggae band Flaxxies.

Beach Break Nelson will be Shapeshifters’ exclusive South Island show this summer, where the band are supported by roots and rock fusion legends KORA, My Baby, and the next generation of Aotearoa reggae royalty Muroki, with more to be announced! The Nelson concert is a family-friendly beachside affair, with a day and evening of 100% good vibes in the hot summer sun. And even better – Kids under 12 are FREE with a parent or legal guardian*.

*Important information about the Nelson show:

To redeem a free kids ticket, you must first have a general admission ticket. There is a limit of 2 free kids per Adult ticket.

Under 18: $49 only!! You must have valid ID at the gate that matches your name on the ticket. Age and name checks will be undertaken by security at the gate.

Over 18 is general admission, and early birds start at $49, then $69, then $109.The earlier you buy the cheaper it is.

All prices are booking fee exclusive.

There will be a selection of refreshing alcoholic bar options in a licensed area for those over 18. Children will not be permitted in the bar service area, Drinks are required to be consumed in this safe and secure area and not in the music arena. This is for the comfort of all patrons.
